About Us

Story Soup Enterprises focuses on the performing and visual arts, and on Earth care and the interdependence of all nature. We provide short story resources suitable for events, presentations (including sermons), discussions, reflections and enjoyment! Full length books, poetry, articles/essays and information about arts and Earth care resources and events can also be found on the Stories To Savour podcast. Story Soup Enterprises also mounts events and projects using the arts.
Our current project, Story Soup 2020, provides short stories to residents of long-term care homes in Toronto through the telephone. This service is available to all residents of greater Toronto who feel isolated and want the comfort and pleasure of being read to. It is free of charge. The number to call is 905 946-0787 any time of the day or night to listen to a selection of 3 to 10 minute long stories.
Our up-coming climate crisis through the arts live event will be held at Hart House in Toronto as soon as live events are again possible. Look for Earth Care: From Scar Tissue to New Growth.
This site will keep you informed about courses, workshops, books, videos, DVD’s and articles on storytelling, writing, and theatre arts including puppetry.
